πŸŒ‹ Volcano Token (VLN) | Edition: June 2025 | Project made in Costa Rica

What is Volcano Token?

Volcano Token (VLN) is a utility token created on the Avalanche network, a blockchain known for its high scalability and low transaction fees, making it a solid foundation for innovative projects.

It was born in Costa Rica, a land rich in natural beauty and spirit of progress, with the fundamental purpose of driving social, technological, and educational innovation through the implementation of simple digital tools, the organization of programming hackathons that foster creativity and problem-solving, and the development of real projects with tangible impact on the community.

From its conception, VLN has been designed to have practical and valuable use from day one. Its utility focuses especially on strengthening communities, facilitating educational processes that promote new skills and knowledge, and advancing technological initiatives that generate positive and significant impact. We seek to empower individuals and organizations to build a more connected and innovative future, using the token as a catalyst for development and collaboration in these key pillars.

Origin and Philosophy

The token is deeply inspired by the majestic Arenal Volcano of Costa Rica, a natural wonder that encapsulates the essence of energy, constant transformation, and resilient life. Just as a volcano, with its internal force, can generate fertile landscapes and give rise to new life, we firmly believe that technology, when well-directed and used with purpose, has the power to be a deeply regenerative force for communities and society.

VLN was born with the clear mission of igniting new ideas, connecting diverse talents, and rewarding tangible action and real impact. Beyond being a simple digital tool, it seeks to be a catalyst for sustainable development, promoting collaboration and innovation in an ecosystem where creativity and problem-solving are valued and encouraged.

Technology and Wallets

Volcano Token (VLN) sits on a robust and efficient technological infrastructure, designed to ensure fast, secure, and economical transactions. We have carefully selected the network and wallet tools to ensure maximum usability and accessibility for all our users.

Network

VLN operates on the Avalanche C-Chain, a high-performance blockchain that stands out for its compatibility with the Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM). This strategic choice allows VLN to benefit from incredible scalability, near-instant transactions, and significantly low gas fees, making it a very efficient and eco-friendly option for our ecosystem. Its robustness ensures the reliability of all operations.

Supported Wallets

For managing VLN, users can easily use their known and trusted wallets. We provide full support for MetaMask, the most popular and widely adopted wallet in the blockchain ecosystem, as well as Core Wallet, Avalanche's native solution. Additionally, VLN is compatible with any other wallet that supports the Avalanche C-Chain, offering flexibility and convenience to the community.

Development

In line with our philosophy of usability and efficiency, we have made the strategic decision not to develop our own wallet for Volcano Token. Instead, we focus on seamlessly integrating VLN with existing and proven wallets in the market. This prioritizes immediate usability for users, eliminating the need to learn a new interface and allowing them to manage their tokens with tools they are already familiar with, thus fostering faster and easier adoption.

Hackathon Focus

The Arenal Volcano Hackathons are designed to be intensive and enriching experiences, with a clear focus on creating practical and high-impact solutions. Our goal is to transform ideas into functional prototypes that address significant challenges.

100% focused on programming

Our hackathons are exclusively dedicated to software development and technological solutions. Participants immerse themselves in coding, applying their skills to build innovative applications from scratch or improving existing projects.

Social, environmental, or educational themes

Each hackathon will focus on real-world issues with positive impact. We seek solutions that benefit society, protect our environment, or promote access to education, using technology as a driver for change.

Prizes and access to VLN-managed events

Winning teams will receive significant prizes, including VLN tokens, mentoring opportunities, and exclusive access to future events and workshops. This fosters healthy competition and continuous growth of participants within our ecosystem.

Concrete examples of challenges we will address include: developing applications to improve distance education, creating platforms for river cleaning and monitoring, or designing educational games based on Web3 technology. These initiatives not only drive innovation but also strengthen the community and demonstrate the practical value of VLN.

Initial Sale (ICO) and Early Participation

In order to distribute Volcano Token (VLN) in a transparent, accessible, and functional way, an initial sale (ICO) will be conducted aimed at individuals and communities who wish to actively participate in the ecosystem from its early stages.

🎯 Objective

Distribute a percentage of the token to users, developers, and allies who wish to collaborate in building the VLN ecosystem. This sale does not seek to promise profits or financial returns, but rather to facilitate early circulation of the token within the intended use cases.

πŸͺ™ Token allocation for sale

Amount allocated: 100,000,000 VLN

Percentage of total supply: 10%

πŸ“… Estimated date

To be determined.

It will be officially announced on our networks and website once the minimum infrastructure development is completed (contract, site, documentation, and internal audit).

πŸ’³ Participation method

AVAX (Avalanche's native token) will be accepted as a means of exchange.

Minimum and maximum participation still to be determined, to allow broad access but avoid excessive concentration.

πŸ” Security and transparency

  • Public and verifiable contract address.
  • Documented, open sale process with real-time tracking.
  • Acquired tokens will be automatically transferred to the participant's wallet.

πŸ”’ Important considerations

  • Volcano Token (VLN) is not a financial or investment instrument.
  • This sale does not imply a promise of economic return.
  • The token has purely functional purposes and will be used within the ecosystem's platforms, events, and projects.

Use of raised funds

The funds obtained in the initial VLN sale will be used exclusively for the development, promotion, and sustainability of the ecosystem. They will not be considered as personal profit for the founding team.

Preliminary fund distribution

Area Estimated percentage
Technical development and platforms 35%
Education, community, and training 25%
Marketing and strategic alliances 20%
Legal advice and audit 10%
Operation reserve 10%

All major movements will be recorded and shared with the community, seeking to maintain a model of transparency and social responsibility.

Community and Conclusion

We believe in open collaboration and continuous learning. We want a community with:

  • Programmers, educators, and entrepreneurs
  • Young people who want to learn Web3
  • Social or environmental allies who use technology for good

Conclusion

VLN is a tool for change. It doesn't promise to be the next millionaire crypto, but it does promise to be useful, real, and grow with purpose. From Costa Rica, we want to invite the world to build projects that are worth it and that give value to the token through concrete action.
